Cody PringleNational Bikini Competitor, Certified Personal Trainer & Nutrition Coach
My name is Cody Leigh Pringle and I am 26 years old. I was born in Orillia Ontario and raised predominantly in Haliburton ON. Haliburton is a small town known for its lakes and cottaging. Living and growing up here there really isn't much to do, so I fell into a large number of sports, including; basketball (I know... I'm too short for that), snowboarding, wrestling, cross-country skiing, and track & field. Outside of these school sports I was also an avid horseback rider.
My love for horses led me to the University of Guelph where I took a Bachelor's degree in Equine Management. During my time in school, I rode as much as possible, worked at a number of farms, participated in boot camps at school and began dabbling in weightlifting. At this time, I had absolutely no idea what I was doing but I know I enjoyed it!
After graduating from University, I decided kind of on a whim to move out to Edmonton AB where I decided I wanted to give a bikini competition a try. I began researching and training, chose a show, got a suit and heels and showed up! To my surprise I placed and qualified for Provincials. 2 weeks later I stepped on stage at Provincials. From here I was lucky enough to have a coach help me prep for the fall Muscle Beach Classic where I won the overall. For the next couple years, I did a few more shows, placing 2nd at provincials, and 2nd nationally. During this time, I also fell in love with the fitness industry, getting myself certified as a trainer and nutrition coach.
Going forward, I hope to help as many people as possible with their fitness journeys, continue to expand my knowledge in health & fitness and most importantly live a healthy, happy, fit life!
